Tim Tebow signs his contract

The Denver Broncos showed how highly they think of their 1st round draft pick Quarterback, Tim Tebow. Yesterday, Tebow signed a 5-year, $33 million dollar contract with the team. The deal pretty much stakes head coach Josh McDaniels to the young signal caller in terms of how his career in Denver will be remembered.

Today, Tebow had his first practice with the Broncos and aparently made some good impressions.

Tebow is a guy I could really get behind. He’s a winner, and a good kid. I don’t exactly like the Broncos and I don’t agree with them getting rid of Jay Cutler; but I think that Tebow and Brady Quinn are two perfect guys to build your offense around.

That’s right, I’m discounting starter Kyle Orton. I think Orton will get off to a slow start and give way to playing time to Brady Quinn and Tebow who will be worked into mixed packages.
