Dante Fowler Jr. Out for the Season with Torn ACL

Well this is terrible news to hear for any franchise and seems incredible unfair.

Dante Fowler Jr., the third overall pick of the 2015 NFL Draft for the Jacksonville Jaguars tore his ACL in his first rookie minicamp practice today. Absolutely, unbelievable. This seems like the type of thing that only happens to the Cleveland Browns or Jacksonville Jaguars.

Reports say that Fowler Jr. went down with only ‘slight contact’ today in practice. This is a sad bit of news to pass along. We wanted to see what the best possible edge-rusher in the draft had as a rookie but it will have to wait until 2016; and you wonder if a player is ever the same after that. Will he still have the same burst that made him the third overall pick.

The question will need waited on a year for an answer.
