Rappoport: Raiders’ Carr could become first $25M Dollar Player

Ian Rappoport is reporting that if and when a deal gets done between the Oakland Raiders (this is more just conjecture and speculation isn’t it?), he could very well be the league’s highest-paid Quarterback and player at $25 million dollars per year.

Rappoport also mentions a key date of July 15th, as this is the date a guy like Kirk Cousins would have to be extended by; and if the Raiders and Carr have not reached a deal by that point, the possibility exists that the market would be re-set, and the Raiders would be back to the drawing board with their franchise signal-caller.

I am truly so excited for this to be over with and hope it’s done by the 4th of July fireworks.
